About the event
“Herrings communicate with farts.”
UMWELT (a term coined by German biologist Jakob von Uexküll, which describes the environment created by the unique world of each organism’s sensory world) explores the underwater world and the risks it faces due to anthropogenic sound, through a personal standpoint. An interactive installation on underwater sound pollution: created with humour and scientific facts, which will be followed by an open discussion on the 10th December.
Αccessibility: QR code of the article available online (for the blind & the environmentally friendly),Touch tour for blind and general assistant provided the public, written description of what to expect for the deaf, printed article in English and Cypriot & reading lights (for the elderly/deaf/people with crap phones),a station with audio description of the projection for the blind.
