You are cordially invited to say “yes!” when asked to come to this performance.
We have come a long way to learn
to say “no” to others,
to say “no” to draw our limits,
to say “no”: enough is enough.
And for a good reason.
At the same time, we have been raised to fear
To say “yes” to ourselves,
To say “yes” to our deepest cravings,
To say “yes” to our own pleasure.
And this aspires change.
