PIFF -Palestinian Independent Film Festival

The third edition of the Palestinian Independent Film Festival (PIFF), will take place 8-10 May 2026 across a network of five cities in Cyprus and Greece, bringing together independent cultural spaces and local collectives through a shared, transnational program.

This year's Edition is curated around a central question: how is life sustained, transmitted, and insisted upon under conditions designed to exhaust it?. Inspired by the phrase “We Teach Life, Sir” from a poem by Palestinian poet Rafeef Ziadah, The program considers how life is lived, sustained, and carried forward under ongoing conditions of colonization, siege, displacement, and fragmentation. The program reflects on Palestinian life not as an abstraction, but as a lived social and political reality shaped by family, exile, movement, loss, and intergenerational responsibility.
