About the event
From 21 to 23 February 2025, Julia Georgiadou will present the second part of "Light Points" at Synergeio, through a video installation that reconfigures the memories of the first action. The installation not only captures the experience, but incorporates light traces and image fragments from the public space, creating an echo that continues to evolve. The first action of "Light Points" took place on 26 January 2025 and focused on a walking trail in the public space around the area of the Multipurpose Workshop. The action focused on highlighting forgotten histories and cultural sites through lighting interventions, creating new connections between the spaces and the viewers. Sevina Floridou's research determined the selection of the nine historical sites, while artist Julia Georgiadou and lighting designer Vassilis Petinaris created lighting compositions that gave new life to the spaces and offered the audience a unique experience.
