FREE Interdisciplinary Workshop by Korallia Stergides

In the lead up to Korallia Stergides' relaxed reading of 'Teething Mam' for Beyond-Dis Dance Festival on the 14th of December, the artist invites participants into her interdisciplinary process through an introspective workshop interweaving observational and memory drawing, written and somatic explorations responding to water as an intimate body through our own embodied sense of dysfunctionality, dominance and dis-ability.

Important: Participants are prompted to bring an object that is or could be considered broken or dysfunctional, and/or a mollusc to the workshop that is meaningful to them.

Audiences will have the flexibility of responding in the way that best represents or feels comfortable to their experience or ability.

There will be no pressure to produce anything from the workshop if one doesn't want to. Participants have the option to sit out and become an observer if tired at any stage.
