B(l)alloon is a multisensory accessible artwork that balances between the visual and the auditory, addressing simultaneously sighted and blind, hearing and non-hearing individuals. Delving into an interdisciplinary performative practice — body music — the kinetic performance explores the corporeality of sound, which manages to resonate both with the ears and with the eyes/gaze. The non-verbal language of ba(l)loon transforms viewing into a universally experiential, collective encounter — an artistic invitation that goes beyond conventional accessibility tools, discovering and cultivating innovative, alternative interpretive tools of inclusion.
